Getting new eyes, part 1

It’s been a long time since I last had my eyes checked. I mean, I know my eyesight is really bad; that fact I’ve known my whole life. The thing is that it seems to have gotten worse. Nearly two years have passed since the last time I had my eyes checked, more than double the time recommended by doctors. I have trouble reading things at a certain distance, things I used to read perfectly on my computer now need to be zoomed in, sometimes I even have trouble recognizing some faces! That is not cool!

So, after so many times of pushing back coming to the ophthalmologist, here I am. I’m waiting to be called in, looking at all the frames they have available here. Meh. The only ones I like from here is a Nike 7030 frame, colored black and red (my favorite colors).

The frames I currently have are Oakley Gasket, colored black and dark gay. I fell in love with them because they look just like my favorite model of Oakley sunglasses, the Gascan (see the name resemblance?). I had a pair of those but they were stolen from me a while back.

I’m also thinking of getting contact lenses again. It’s been two and a half years since I last had a pair of contacts I could use. If I do get them, I’ll be buying a new pair of sunglasses, the Oakley Oil Rig… or something like that. (The name made me notice something… Gascan —> Gas Can… aha! How about Gas Ket…? No, no, doesn’t work there, lol). And, by the way, no: I don’t wear colored contact lenses.

I’ll update once I have my glasses / contacts / sunglasses. It won’t be long. [Note: sure as heck didn't take long. I've got a pair of contacts at the moment, heh.]
